The Quinta da Moenda lies on the bank of the river near the village Alvoco das Várzeas. The road number is N 230. Our village is part of the municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, hoewever this is not your final destination!
From Lisbon take the A1 Norte-E80 motorway towards Coimbra.
From Porto take the A1 Sul-E80 towards Coimbra.
From Coimbra take the IP3 North towards Viseu/Guarda.Turn off at Exit 13, onto the IC6 towards Guarda/Covilhã. After the second bridge at Penacova take exit 13, IC 6 (O. Hospital/ Covilhã). At the very end of this highway turn right at the roundabout and left at the last one. You will end up in Vendas de Galizes. Shortly after the Galp gas station turn right at the traffic lights/roundabout onto the N230 towards Covilhã/Vide/Avô. Drive down the mountain until you come to Ponte das Tres Entradas. Turn left at the bridge towards Alvoco das Várzeas. Drive for 4 km and look for the Quinta da Moenda sign on the righthand side.
