Serra da Estrela
Drive across the Serra da Estrela mountain range, experience amazing climbs and decents – navigate one of Portugal's most hair raising roads, it drops nearly straight to Manteigas, covering some 4 km of linear distance on 17 km of twisting roads with vertical drops on either side, with no barriers. See the shepherds tending their flocks. It is great – our favourite drive!
