In Springtime enjoy the overwhelming beauty of wild flowering mimosa woods, red and white camelia trees and whole mountain sides full of yellow gorse, wild heather and cistus, flowering orange and lemon trees and bright pink cherry orchards.
The Summer season is mostly hot and dry, with fields full of vegetables for winter storage crops and the ripening of grape and fig trees.
In Autumn you can enjoy the warm past-summer time, the wine harvest and sometimes a cooling strong rainshower, after which nature looks and smells its nicest. The pine woods are full of huge pine cones ready for collection for winter fires and falling chestnuts ready for roasting.
The Winter season brings rain but also still warm sunny days, just right for exploring the countryside. Plump oranges and lemons are now ready for picking.
