Winter Season at Quinta da Moenda

Each season here has its own charming face. In Springtime the orange trees flower and during the wintertime you can pick plump oranges and lemons. Enjoy the overwhelming beauty of flowering mimosa woods, camelia trees and whole mountain sides full of yellow gorse, wild heather and cistus.

Summer season is mostly hot and dry, but this brings the ripening of wine and fig trees. In Autumn you can enjoy the warm past-summer time, the wine harvest and sometimes a cooling strong rainshower, after which nature looks and smells its nicest.
